The Union Square Music Karaoke series is a collection of three discs. They come under the title, ‘Greatest Karaoke Ever’. So, is this name flattering to the karaoke makers, or is it justified?
The discs have the prefix GTST029, and we list them below. Of course, we have a songbook to accompany this set.
In brief, this is a party karaoke collection. However, even with three discs, the running time is over three hours for all the tracks.
A few members sent disc IDs for this label, and the numbering systems were the same. So, this was easy to put together, including the accompanying songbook.

Union Square Music Karaoke Review
This karaoke collection has only three discs, so we had no idea what to expect. Indeed, none of our staff had heard of them before. However, we had a pleasant surprise because they were of good quality.
The splash screen was disappointing, with a blue screen and an orange song title. Then, the screen gave way to the white lyrics. The words changed orange as the song progressed. Not only that, but they synced well with the music.
Indeed, their choice of backing music was excellent as well.
The end screen has a reference to Union Square Music. There’s a graphical display first. That is similar to falling rain. The purplish sleeves were decent, but the CDGs themselves missed a trick. All in all, this offering from the makers is good.

Although we may use numerous songs for the review, we only provide one sample video to represent the label. So, the song sample for our video presentation is GTST029-01-15 – ABBA – Dancing Queen.

Desirability Factor
These discs would grace any karaoke collection. They would easily suit a gig or home use, so buy these without worry.
In October 2014, these discs were still available on Amazon for £6.99 in the UK. That equates to $11.40 in the USA. So, they are still available and seem very cheap.
You will get them cheaper at second-hand stalls. If the adage ‘you get what you pay for’ is correct, the price suggests disappointment. But this is not the case with these sounds.
