Ultra-Sonics Karaoke Introduction
There are only four discs in the Ultra-Sonics Karaoke series. They may have a track or two that you specifically want, so how do they perform? Read on for more information and reviews about this rare karaoke label.
We call this label rare because we couldn’t find any on the day of our internet search in October 2014.
That is not to say that these discs will not appear again for sale online, because they undoubtedly will.
Luckily, we have quite a few staff here at Karaoke Info who have lots of “rare” karaoke. Because of that, we can conduct a review of the Ultra-Sonics label.
Ultra-Sonics Karaoke Discs
The discs are reasonably hard to acquire because of their rarity. However, there are some karaoke jockeys (KJs) who possess them. Therefore, after asking around, we list these CDGs as the majority of KJs would in their songbooks:

Ultra-Sonics Karaoke Review
One of the best things about being part of the Karaoke Info team is conducting reviews. That is where staff can give their thoughts and opinions about a specific label from our massive karaoke directory. So, without further ado, let’s review this small collection of CDGs.
The splash screens are colourful and bold. That is especially true on discs 2, 3 and 4. Meanwhile, the end screens show the company logo with their website URL. That website address no longer exists since they don’t make karaoke anymore (beyondcoolmedia.com). We found some on-screen graphics during the instrumental bits of the songs, which is a great touch.
The backing music choice was brilliant, and we can’t fault that, but the on-screen lyrics lagged slightly. Be that as it may, these karaoke songs can pack a punch without a doubt. The words are yellow and turn red to match the beat. They are all on a black background, are legible, and are just how they should be.
The CDGs are bog-standard, and there was no other artwork to assess. Indeed, our samples came without any, and we think these discs were selling without sleeves. However, they score more due to their on-screen graphics. Some karaoke makers don’t include any of that.

Although we may use numerous songs for the review, we only provide one sample video to represent the label. So, the song sample for our video presentation is US0001-12 – Kiss – Cold Gin.

Desirability Factor
We loved these discs for some strange reason. Perhaps the songs we sampled were top-notch. This small collection would be well worth having in your possession. See the Ultra-Sonics songbook below. If you like what is on them, they will not disappoint.

To Sum Up
We didn’t find anyone willing to give any negative comments about the Ultra-Sonics Karaoke label so far.
Since our review is favourable and we like the discs, we recommend grabbing them. That’s if you can find them!
Also, remember that karaoke disc collectors will pay higher prices for complete sets. So, you shouldn’t lose out if you find them cheap enough, which you will.
Same-Name Karaoke (Similar)
One thing that we need to point out is that there is another karaoke label that sounds similar. However, we can’t yet prove a link between these karaoke labels. That other karaoke label is Ultrasonics (without the hyphen). We know of only one CDG in that series, and you can find that disc info here.
If you can prove a link between these makers, let us know. If there is a link, we will update the pages. The only connection we can see is that the disc prefixes are remarkably similar. In other words, they both have a treble zero!
