Starmaker Karaoke Introduction
Here, we have two small sets of discs from the Starmaker Karaoke producers. We will give as much information as possible, along with a review. That is, so that you can decide whether to seek these out to buy or not.
When we performed an internet search in 2014, we found none of these karaoke discs for sale. Because the name is generic, the results were not too encouraging either. Of course, the search engine throws up lots of Star Maker stuff. These are generic words that give results for something different.
Be that as it may, these discs are old and rare. Therefore, at the end of our search, we could not see one Starmaker CDG available to buy.
Many karaoke makers sprang up in the boom years but quickly died out. In this case, Starmaker Karaoke was no different. We only have snippets of information about these CDGs and nothing about the firm that made them. For this reason, we would invite them to share that information.

Starmaker Karaoke Review
We sampled a few of these Starmaker discs because we adore bench-testing the less common labels.
You should be familiar with the big karaoke labels, but how do these compare?
The splash screens are bright yellow with the Starmaker brand name. You also see the song title at this stage. The on-screen graphics are light blue, dark blue and red. The end screen shows InterMezzo MultiMedia.
The on-screen lyrics matched the beat perfectly, and the music was sparkling and clean. This karaoke label is a good performer, and we love them.
The cover art is decent, but they are not individually styled. There is a big star with four singers on the sleeves. They may be similar but are colourful, which is a plus. They also have a star that is prominent on the CDG.
Karaoke Song Sample
Although we may use numerous songs for the review, we only provide one sample video to represent the label. So, the song sample for our video presentation is SM010-12 – Robbie Williams – Mack The Knife.

Desirability Factor
We enjoyed the sample tracks from Starmaker Karaoke. They will grace any disc collection, but they would be worth much more to collectors if you had the entire set.
To Sum Up
So, there is no information about the makers and no trace on the internet. Buying them might prove to be difficult then. Have you any scraps of information we could use?
Because they are a rare collection, we suspect that the hardcore karaoke collector will have much interest in them. Therefore, should a complete set pop up on places like eBay, grab them while you can. You can see that we like them, and you will have a decent collection that should have value in the future!
However, because of their age, you may never find any of these new in their cellophane wrapper. The busy KJ or home user will probably let them pass by unless they come along dirt cheap. However, we know many avid collectors who deal in whole sets. This small but collectable set will hold its value.

Official Review By Jacky: Starmaker Karaoke.
Hi, my name is Jacky, and I conducted the original karaoke review above. Whether you agree or disagree, you can leave your review below.
Great effort.
A decent karaoke label. It’s a shame that there seem to be discs missing from this collection.
Very nice.
I think Karaoke Info has given a decent review of the Starmaker label. However, I am giving it five stars. That is because I like what is on offer!
It's OK!
But not my cup of tea!
