Song Factory Karaoke Introduction
The Song Factory Karaoke series is a collection of over 40 CDGs. Their prefix numbers are straightforward without complications, so they are easy to list.
But you want to know how they perform. Well, read on for further information and reviews.
These discs come from the karaoke heyday, and all have the years 2000 and 2002 printed on the labels. But their release date is unknown as yet. Furthermore, the company doesn’t make CDGs now, but they have left their mark.
Unfortunately, we found none for sale when we searched the Internet in August 2014. However, the marketplace is dynamic, and they will show up. Just remember that you can only buy these discs second-hand now. So, ensure you ask about their condition before continuing with the sale.

Song Factory Karaoke Review
The opening splash screen for all our sample tracks gave us a bright red screen with the company name followed by the song title.
That format seems prevalent throughout all their tracks, and there is no information when the song ends.
Their choice of foundation music was decent, and the on-screen graphics were big and bold. We would have no problem gigging with these. Of course, they are suitable for home use as well.
However, if we had a niggle, it would be about the on-screen lyrics in the early part of the collection. We say that because the first 21 discs from the 39-disc set have thinner on-screen lyrics. From disc 22 onward, the words are thicker. So, the makers were aware that the early style was not ideal. However, these CDGs are still decent and deserve recognition.
The artwork on the sleeves and CDGs is non-existent, apart from the company logo. That is a factory pumping out pollutants. These discs are not representative of that. On the contrary, they are fine.
Karaoke Song Sample
Although we may use numerous songs for the review, we only provide one sample video to represent the label. So, the song sample for our video presentation is SFK1021-09 – Extreme – More Than Words.

We gave this collection 4 out of 5 in the rating system below. You can also vote for these, even if you don’t have the discs or tracks. Indeed, all you need to do is watch our presentation video above and judge that.
Desirability Factor
Due to the collection having concurrent numbers, they would be ideal in any karaoke collection. They haven’t got anything that is not on Zoom or Sunfly discs. However, if you are not collecting those and want something to try, you will enjoy them.
The team at Karaoke Info can’t possibly sample every track in this collection, so if you have any experience with these discs, please leave your comments below. This way, you will be helping future karaoke collectors decide whether they should seek them out themselves.
To Sum Up
When we set out to list the disc ID numbers (prefixes) for the karaoke collections, we received many lists from karaoke jockeys (KJs). We had to sift through them all so we could compile the data.
Since no more Song Factory Karaoke discs will come onto the market, the lists we show will not change.
Furthermore, after consulting with KJs, this list of disc prefixes and the songbook is the most popular way to catalogue everything from this collection.
After a quick search, we couldn’t find any of these discs for sale. But, if karaoke disc collectors want to buy them, it is best to understand them first. The Song Factory Karaoke series would be a decent acquisition with their disc numbers in sequence. So if they pop up on the Internet, grab them. The staff here would recommend them.
