Rising Star Karaoke Introduction
This small Rising Star Karaoke collection of three discs has a generic name. Because of that, it makes it hard to search for them when seeking to buy them.
That is especially true when the karaoke discs are so old, coming from the heyday of CDGs.
There are also many karaoke jockeys (KJs) and clubs named Rising Star. Not only that, but the rarity of these three karaoke discs adds to the complexity of the search. Therefore, it’s hard to get hold of this collection.
However, grab them while you can, because karaoke disc collectors are waiting for you to resell them. The firm only released three CDGs. But you want to know how they perform, of course. So, our review is below. Firstly, though, here is a list of the three discs in this set that we know of:

Rising Star Karaoke Review
We always look forward to reviewing small karaoke labels like this. In other words, the rarer they are, the better. That is because we like to see the potential they once had.
We also love to compare the small labels with the big guns in the karaoke world.
We were pleasantly surprised once the splash screen kicked in. That’s not to say that the splash screen sells karaoke discs. It’s just that if they create a decent first appearance, it sets a good example.
In this case, we enjoyed the samples we put to the test. They were excellent musically, with on-screen lyrics that never failed to impress. The light blue screen displays the white lyrics. They turn to gold as the music moves on. They kept up with the beat impeccably.
The first disc in this collection was pop and rock, while the second and third disc were country music.

Although we may use numerous songs for the review, we only provide one sample video to represent the label. So, the song sample for our video presentation is RS503-04 – Alan Jackson – Little Bitty.

As far as rare karaoke discs go, this is near the top. Not only that, but they will hold their value on the karaoke scene. They are great for gigging and home use on portable karaoke players. In other words, they are a good all-rounder.
