The Priddis Karaoke label released hundreds of CDGs over many series. Here is another big player in the karaoke world, but have you heard of them?
Priddis Music and Audio no longer produces karaoke discs. However, as you can see below, they were very productive.
Furthermore, it stands to reason that they wouldn’t have survived for so long had they turned out rubbish sounds. Indeed, their back catalogue is massive.
Buy With Confidence
If you want to skip the information and reviews, we can tell you that the Priddis Music and Audio Karaoke discs are well worth the money. However, be aware that most discs have guide vocals. Not only that, but some have as few as ten tracks. That means there are only five unique tracks per disc. In contrast, some discs have 15 or more traditional karaoke tracks.
They were a very reputable company that started in the karaoke heyday. That was in the mid-nineties and early noughties, of course. Many karaoke jockeys (KJs) still like the discs and reach for them regularly at their music venues and gigs. They do so with a reliable brand name behind them.
Getting hold of new discs would be difficult, especially those CDGs with a factory seal. But, with so many CDGs released from Priddis, we have seen many for sale on the internet. By and large, they were very cheap as well. So, get out there in the marketplace and buy a cart full. Perhaps, if you do buy some, come back here and write your very own review!
A Massive Karaoke Label
With such a massive karaoke label like Priddis, gathering the data took a while. However, many members have sent their songbooks to us for the Priddis Karaoke label. In general, all KJs listed every series the same. So, our lists are the same.
In contrast, compiling the song list for Priddis Karaoke was a pain. That is because of the size of the label. However, since Priddis no longer makes karaoke discs, we can put forward a complete track listing. These lists shouldn’t change because of the situation unless someone discovers some rare Priddis discs we have not got on our lists!
To clarify, here are the Priddis Packs and their prefix numbers. However, there are some small gaps. So, if you can shed some light on these ‘missing’ discs, get in touch.

Priddis Karaoke Review
Some karaoke labels need no introduction. Indeed, you know that they will perform well. Most of the Karaoke Info team doesn’t gig regularly now, but many of us had a few Priddis CDGs when they did. So we know what to expect from them, but we had to test a sample for this info and reviews page.
All our sample songs displayed the company logo on the splash screen. You also see the song title, of course. But you wait until the song ends before seeing things like the writers and publishers.
Our sample songs had blue screens to display white lyrics. The wording then turns gold or yellow as the music progresses. The synchronisation was excellent, and we didn’t see any lag in our samples.
The artwork on the sleeves is decent, while the discs themselves look like run-of-the-mill CDGs

Although we may use numerous songs for the review, we only provide one sample video to represent the label. So, the song sample for our video presentation is PR1008-04 – Taylor Dayne – Tell It To My Heart.

Desirability Factor
Collecting all the discs in the Priddis catalogue would take ages. However, this is a brilliant label. You cannot lose if you grab them. They are perfect for gigging and home use.

You know you can’t go wrong buying karaoke labels such as Sunfly and Zoom. However, there are some excellent labels from the karaoke heyday, and Priddis is one such label.
In conclusion, we believe that such a big player in the karaoke field, like Priddis, will be a safe buy for the karaoke disc collector. They wouldn’t have survived so long if they were not good, and besides, the Karaoke Info team adores them. The only downside is that many discs have guide vocals.
You know you’re careful with anything you buy. So, purchasing karaoke discs should be no different. In short, some people rely mainly on reputation and recommendations. That is why the Karaoke Info site exists, of course.
