To review the Mr Entertainer Karaoke Series, we just took a couple of discs from our complete collection. Most karaoke jockeys (KJs) have at least some Mr Entertainer discs.
The splash screens are unique, and their logo is easily identifiable. That is the bald man with a hat and cane, of course.
This image is even more prominent and colourful on the later discs. Their early CDGs have slightly different splash screens, but both are fine.
You see their logo on both of the opening splash screens. The latter ones also show the web address. Also shown is the song title, “In the Style of” (artist).
The on-screen lyrics and background colours can be different. That is dependent on their release date. However, all are legible and have a decent font.
Many of their karaoke songs say that the audio track comes from SBI Karaoke. Be that as it may, we can’t fault any backing track from Mr Entertainer. The on-screen lyrics sync perfectly with the beat of the music.
The artwork on the sleeves could have been better because these are very similar-looking. But, there are slight variations in each series, and they may show different female singers. The CDGs vary slightly, but all follow a simple path.
