Karaoke Klub Super Hits Introduction
These Karaoke Klub Super Hits DVDs are only playable on RSQ machines or media players. That is because they are NEO+G DVDs. However, they do have over 1200 karaoke tracks on each disc! With this in mind, we examine whether the quality is good enough for gigging or home use.
Also, we check whether it is practical to have them in your collection or whether you should miss them out!
The NEO+G karaoke format is patented by RSQ. Because of that, they will only play on RSQ karaoke machines. However, being DVDs, you should be able to play them on suitable media players. We have detailed information about the different karaoke formats here.

Karaoke Klub Super Hits + Multiplex
So, it appears that there are three releases based on the images above. Also, each edition has a full-on karaoke version and a Multiplex version (MPX). Of course, this makes six DVD karaoke releases in total.
Multiplex means that all tracks have a vocal accompaniment. That is a bonus for those wishing to learn a new song. However, you can cancel the vocal. That leaves you with the music track, but it will be mono. Indeed, this is an ideal way to learn a song. But, some people think these MPX discs are a waste of space. It’s what you believe that matters!
Unfortunately, our list only contains discs one and three. Indeed, KKSH02 exists, but we have no details yet. So, if we can’t list the tracks, we can’t list the karaoke discs. However, there is an image above.
Karaoke Klub Super Hits Review
The splash screens are consistent throughout the series. The dark blue backdrop shows the song title “In the Style of” together with the artist. There is no further information available, even when the song ends.
The blue background remains for the lyrics. The wording is white but changes colour as the song progresses. The colour varies according to the karaoke song in use.
The choice of backing music is excellent, and the on-screen lyrics sync well enough. Indeed, the sound exceeded our expectations. However, these karaoke tracks are mono. That can be irritating for home users. Be that as it may, they will be fine for gigging. Just remember that their bitrate will be lower.
The artwork is the same on the three discs. That is unimaginative, but acceptable. However, we will not mark them unjustly because of that.
Karaoke Song Sample
Although we may use numerous songs for the review, we only provide one sample video to represent the label. So, the song sample for our video presentation is KKSH01-0676 – Nazareth – Love Hurts.

We gave this collection 4 out of 5 in the rating system below. We would have gone a lot higher had they been stereo. You can also vote for these, even if you don’t have the discs or tracks. Indeed, all you need to do is watch our presentation video above and judge that.
Desirability Factor
There are over a thousand karaoke tracks on each disc, so they have that going for them. On the negative side, the quality may not be as good as conventional karaoke CDGs.
Indeed, with all those tracks on the disc, we assume they won’t be as good as a normal CDG. In other words, the bit rate will be lower.
But our tests show that we liked what we heard! Be that as it may, most reputable commercial karaoke discs have a higher bit rate. They will also be stereo.
Thus, commercially made karaoke discs with an average of 18 songs will have a far superior sound. Of course, that may not be an issue, especially where alcohol is flowing.
The few tracks we sampled were decent enough. But, we repeat, traditional karaoke machines will not play these discs. That is not a problem once you rip them to a hard drive. You can then play on a computerised system.
However, that may be hard work for some, so we don’t recommend buying them. Of course, if you find these discs going cheaply, and you can rip them, why not?
