Kids Direct Karaoke Introduction
The Kids Direct Karaoke Series has nine discs in total. Also, as the name of the karaoke label suggests, these karaoke discs are specifically for the kids’ market. However, will the children like them?
The best places to use these karaoke discs are schools and home use, especially kids’ parties. Kids need stimulus, of course. With this in mind, a few kids’ songs are excellent when the occasion suits them. However, anyone who has ever gigged at a children’s party knows it can be hard to please everyone!

Kids Direct Karaoke Review
We sampled a few tracks from this series and found them to be jolly enough. Not only that, but they had good on-screen graphics, and the words were in a kid’s style. Our verdict here at Karaoke Info: a big hit!
The first half of the discs have vocal accompaniment. That allows the kids to get familiar with the songs, of course. Once learned, you can revert to the traditional karaoke style on the second half of the discs.
The splash screens are unveiled from the centre and show the company logo and song title. They also display the songwriters at the bottom of the screen when necessary.
The background screens are blue with white lyrics that turn orange as the song progresses. That is a decent combination that works well together.
The choice of backing music is apt and as jolly as can be. There are different genres, for example, country music and Christmas music. We sampled Sloop John B, but the words are slightly changed. The on-screen lyrics sync with the music impeccably.
The artwork is excellent for kids’ karaoke discs, with cartooned characters on the sleeves and discs.
