Kawah Karaoke LaserDiscs Introduction
Numerous karaoke labels originate in Asia, and the Kawah LaserDiscs are one of them. We sample one of their English discs here, complete with a review.
Of course, there may be more English discs in the collection. However, the only one we could sample was KAWAH-304. Because this format is LaserDisc, there are two sides: A and B.
Kawah Karaoke LaserDiscs Review
The videos start with a freeze frame, and then the song title appears. The white lyrics turn to blue to prompt the singer. However, they don’t always appear quickly enough.
So unless your singers know the song well enough, they may struggle somewhat.
Be that as it may, the lyrics were always on time. In other words, there was no lag.
The videos show female models in deep thought or walking around various locations. In most instances, there is no connection to the song, but this is the norm for this type of video karaoke from that era. However, that is not to say they are uninteresting. On the contrary, they do a fine job. The music is perfect, but the cover art could have been better.

Karaoke Song Sample
Although we may use numerous songs for the review, we only provide one sample video to represent the label. So, the song sample for our video presentation is KAWAH-304A-11 – Connie Francis – Where The Boys Are.
