Kantatu Pro Karaoke Introduction
Kantatu Pro is a Portuguese karaoke label. The firm has 70 discs and over 1000 tracks in its back catalogue.
The firm still has an active website with a lot going on, and you can still buy their karaoke songs. So if you buy some because of our information, call back and let us know.
The early discs have guide vocals (KTT001 to KTT008), but their later CDGs don’t. We reviewed the label, and you can download the songbook for the whole series.
The Kantatu website describes their products as “the best karaoke in Portuguese.” However, there is a scattering of English tracks on this Latin label. For example, KTT147-05 – Rita Redshoes – Beginning Song. Indeed, there are a few more English tracks to her name.
It looks like Kantatu Karaoke has successfully transformed from discs to digital downloads. Once you visit their website, you will see links to the download site.

Kantatu Pro Karaoke Review
The splash screens are clear-cut with the name of the company and website. They also have the song title and writers. The end screen shows the company name. There are no other graphics throughout the track.
Our reviewer can’t speak Portuguese but tells us that the backing singers show the lyrics kept up with the beat.
Of course, we will give them the benefit of the doubt and mark them sympathetically.
However, the artwork on the discs and covers are generically similar. But at least they are colourful. The music is clear and dynamic, with the lyrics being white and turning yellow as a prompt for the singer.

Unlike the primary commercial karaoke directory, the international sets mainly have one songbook, which is ATD (Original Artist, Song Title, Disc Prefix).
However, if your membership status entitles you, ask us to make two more versions.
