Hot Stuff Karaoke Introduction
Hot Stuff Karaoke is from the NuTech family. They consist of three 12-disc packs and two pro series, Country and Pop.
They have their own identity. Because of that, they qualify for an info page on the Karaoke Info website.
Their link to the NuTech brand, which includes Backstage, means they must have a pedigree.
The splash screens also show their unique identity, but are they worth collecting?
Hot Stuff Karaoke Discs

Since Hot Stuff, or indeed, NuTech, doesn’t make karaoke now, the following lists will remain constant. Here is a list of Hot Stuff Disc IDs in existence. We also include their AKA numbers.

Hot Stuff Karaoke Review
This karaoke brand has a fine pedigree, of course. However, does that make these discs worth searching for and buying?
Let’s look at these discs and see whether they match up to their siblings!
The discs show the ‘Hot-Stuff Karaoke’ logo in a box on the top left of the screen. At least in most of our samples, it did.
However, some karaoke tracks from the “packs” had no information apart from a song title.
Because the staff here don’t own any of these discs, we travelled to a friend’s place to sample them.
Looking back at our Backstage review, we see that the lyrics lagged somewhat. However, even though this collection is connected, the pop and country series seemed to have good timing.
The on-screen lyrics varied in colours from song to song, but all were legible. The labels were colourful but nothing special.
So, we have established that Hot Stuff Karaoke has the NuTech brand mark on its labels. Moreover, many are also the same as Backstage Karaoke. However, it does look like the set of 12 discs in the HSPAK3xxx is unique to Hot Stuff Karaoke. But, no doubt, many of their tracks, if not all, will be available under the other karaoke brand names.

Although we may use numerous songs for the review, we only provide one sample video to represent the label. So, the song sample for our video presentation is HSP02-11 – Enrique Iglesias – Sad Eyes.

We gave this collection 3 out of 5 in the rating system below. That was because our review was brief, and we knew of a connection with Backstage. You can also vote for these, even if you don’t have the discs or tracks. Indeed, all you need to do is watch our presentation video above and judge that.
Desirability Factor
The pop and country series performed reasonably well. However, we couldn’t test the packs. So, if you have those karaoke discs, leave your opinions below.
Let’s not take anything away from this label for having a separate identity. Many karaoke collectors save karaoke labels as a matter of course and are happy to have so many dupes. But, for most karaoke collectors, it’s only a business or a home collection. Indeed, duplication of tracks by the same company only gets in the way.
