The forum software has been updated. This is the third one as it was slightly glitchy when first released a few weeks ago.
This has enabled the forum to have pre-loaded avatars.
The uploading of avatars is also activated as well as gravatars and remote stuff - GIFs are also supported.
The minimum pixels to use are 20x20 and can go to a maximum of 120 x 120.
So get creative and grab yourself an avatar.
Here's how to do it.
Go to your name in the top right > User Control Panel > Profile > Edit Avatar ... all options are there in the drop-down box.

There is none left for me. All of the ones available are taken.

I believe one is still available. Would you like someone to make one especially for you? If so let us know.
You can upload one yourself. Just make sure that the image is 140 pixels or less in length and 100 pixels or less in height. You can make your own in paint this way.

We have added a few more avatars.
You should see a drop down box with another section.
These are just some that we have added and many are run of the mill and pretty drab so why not experiment uploading some of your own.
We are here to help if you get stuck.
We will try and upload a few more to the gallery so keep calling back and see if you can find a suitable one.

I can't figure it out here. I could at the last place so can the mods pop an avatar on for me.
