One of our guests gave us the following disc prefix information: However, there was much confusion about the numbering system. Even though we saw evidence on the artwork that they were VCDs, the numbering suggests LaserDisc. So, were they on LaserDisc too?

  • FCL1 OR FCL01
  • FCL2 OR FCL02
  • FCL3 OR FCL03
  • FCL4 OR FCL04
  • FCL5 OR FCL05

Fat Cockerel Karaoke VCDs Review

FCL2-06 Screenshot. Queen - Show Must Go On.

Our reviewers travel sometimes to see how some karaoke discs perform. However, sometimes, we can only do an online video link to test a disc. Indeed, this was the case with the Fat Cockerel collection.

In this case, trying to see the actual video was a nightmare. But our reviewer made something of it all. The videos start with the weird company logo, song title and writers.

Whether or not it was how the review took place, the videos seem to be cluttered and interlaced. Their weirdness breaks us away from the usual male and female in love videos.

The sound quality is fine, and the lyrics sync well. However, without testing the original discs, our verdict may be unfavourable. Of course, the same applies to the disc artwork.

Karaoke Song Sample

Although we may use numerous songs for the review, we only provide one sample video to represent the label. So, the song sample for our video presentation is FCL5-02 – Doors – Light My Fire.
