Disney Karaoke Series
The Disney Karaoke collection is a label that must surely appeal to the kids’ market. However, we cannot see many KJs humping these discs to gigs unless you know better!
We have a list of disc ID numbers (prefixes) sent in by our members. Disney karaoke disc IDs look strange, with some having AKA ‘PS’. So, if you think you know what the PS refers to, let us know.
Indeed, let us know if we should adjust the list in any way!

Collecting Disney Karaoke Information
To collate all these Disney Karaoke discs into one master list, we needed to get hold of the members’ songbooks. Most karaoke jockeys (KJs) only had the odd disc. So, as a result, it took quite a while to gather the information.
But we did it, got a complete list of karaoke discs and put together a songbook (see below). You can cross-reference the songbook when necessary, and it is also available to download.
Disney Karaoke Discs
To clarify, we list the complete set of Disney Karaoke disc IDs that karaoke jockeys use.
You may download the List of CDGs from Disney. However, the songbooks are available to members only. So, consider joining us for more information about this collection.
Disney Karaoke Review

We found that buying the Disney karaoke discs was easy. That is because there were plenty of copies available. We thought they would be good due to the massive brand name, and we were not wrong!
The splash screens on our samples had different images appropriate to the content. The end screens differed slightly. Also, sometimes, you may see graphical images during the instrumental bit. The only information available on either screen was the song title. There was no company title, even though the brand is huge!
Before each of our samples, there was a countdown from four, so you knew when to begin the song. The colour of the lyrics and background screen differ. So, there is no particular standard to the colour scheme. Be that as it may, the lyrics matched the beat impeccably.
The backing music was excellent, of course. Also, the CDGs have decent artwork. However, as expected, the sleeves stood out in the crowd!
Karaoke Sample
Although we may use numerous songs for the review, we only provide one sample video to represent the label. So, the song sample for our video presentation is DISFROZEN – 12 – Idina Menzel – Let It Go.
We dedicate this song to baby Victoria and Julie Jayne.

Desirability Factor
Our review says it all!
The Karaoke Info website staff applauds anyone who makes karaoke in all its forms, and we also applaud Disney. Of course, this massive company is still around. As such, the firm could create an odd karaoke disc in time. Do you know of any discs not on our list above? If so, please inform us.
Disney is universally famous for its ability to entertain, of course. Also, their attention to detail is second to none. Indeed, their brand name guarantees plenty of sales regardless. But reputation alone isn’t what we go on.
Do you use any of these Disney Karaoke discs, and what is your opinion about them? Moreover, would you recommend these Disney Karaoke discs to others?

Songbook And Tracklisting
Now that you have the above information, you need a song list. Indeed, we have that on the next page. Of course, without this list, you will have no idea what is on the discs.
Read this disc identity page together with the songbook page for better cross-referencing. By doing this, you can avoid dupes. In short, click the link below to access the full tracklisting for Disney Karaoke.

Official Review By Julie: Disney Karaoke.
Hi, my name is Julie, and I conducted the original karaoke review above. Whether you agree or disagree, you can leave your review below.
Good sounds.
These are OK.
They are Disney, that's it!
They are Disney, and that company always releases good quality products. However, I would not use these discs much. So, I will pass on this karaoke label.

What more can I say!

PS stands for Pocket Songs.
Both Disney and Pocket Songs apparently teamed up at one time.
Very interesting, as I can’t see a corresponding disc on the Pocket Songs collection.
Could it be that Pocket Songs made many discs for Disney?
Disney Karaoke Series are made by Disney Company. The PS does stand for Pocket Songs, as they made discs with the same songs (mostly before Disney started their own). Track listings will be DIFFERENT!
I work with a Family Karaoke venue, and we use these often! They are usually original soundtracks (except old ones like Mary Poppins) and good quality, with easy-for-kids-to-read graphics. I try to keep up with any new ones that come out!
The karaoke tracks produced directly by Disney are almost second to none in most, but not all, cases. Most of the tracks use the direct backing track from the film’s songs, with the odd exception here or there.
There are some oddities, such as The Lion King having both songs from the original movie and from the musical and sequels.
Occasionally, you will get a lower-quality semi-MIDI track but are primarily from the original scores.
Contrary to what one reviewer said, the Mary Poppins soundtrack seems to be the original score. This is why it sounds lower in quality.
As someone who does karaoke for fun, especially with my family, these CDs are a MUST-HAVE. They are quality discs, great fun, and some even have graphics pulled from the animated features.
