Demon Music Group Karaoke Introduction
Demon Music Group Karaoke released 22 sets of discs. Also, each series contains five karaoke discs, with 20 tracks on each disc. So, the total number of karaoke tracks on each set is 100. Hence, the other name for this collection is ‘100 Hits Karaoke’.
Because the disc ID prefix has DMG, we list these discs the same. Of course, that stands for the Demon Music Group rather than 100 Hits Karaoke.
Firstly, we shouted out for information on these discs a while back. That resulted in a few lists of discs and songbooks to sift through. However, we managed to put together the disc identity list. Also, we put together a songbook with all the tracks.
The resulting songbooks are over 43 pages long.
So, we can now get an idea of the size of this karaoke label. Of course, the extended prefixes make the list bigger than usual. Also, be aware of song duplications in this collection. Obviously, by cross-referencing the lists, you can avoid duplication.
The following list shows how most karaoke jockeys (KJs) usually list these tracks in their songbooks. Furthermore, notice that the disc ID is ‘DMG’ but has the name ‘100 hits karaoke presents’.

We know that Music Factory released discs under licence from Demon Music Group because we saw this on some labels. Those discs are from the Star Tracks Series. We welcome more information about karaoke connections in the comments below.
Demon Music Group Karaoke no longer makes any new discs. But they certainly have a web presence (2014). Also, a quick search on the internet shows that the discs are still available. Indeed, we saw many new and second-hand ones, too.
Surprisingly, we searched for 100 Hits Karaoke No. 1’s and saw that a collection of five discs was selling cheaply. They were for sale for as little as $8.50 (USA) or £5.00 (UK) post-free (2014). If that isn’t good value, then what is? In short, that has to be the bargain of the year! We all want cheap karaoke discs, so tell us about any good deals you find.
Demon Music Group Karaoke Review
The splash screen on our samples gave lots of information. Firstly, it had the company logo with the song title “In the Style of (Artist)”. The off-yellow background gave black lyrics, changing to red as the song progressed. However, this colour combination will differ with different tracks.
Be that as it may, we found that the lyrics synced well and were just a bit ahead. That made these songs great to sing along to and enjoy.
The music choice was excellent, and we saw enough to like these discs. The end screen shows the company branding and “2 Entertain Company” (more info).
The CDG labels are bland, but the sleeves are adequate and inviting. However, we rated them highly, so don’t let the artwork put you off!
100 Hits Karaoke from the Demon Music Group seems like a bargain for collectors. Indeed, the sets appear very cheap for the number of tracks you get.
But we still need more comments on this collection. For example, do you think they are worth people hanging over their cash for these discs?
