Dangerous Karaoke Introduction

These Dangerous Karaoke discs come in two distinct groups, ‘Hot Karaoke’ and ‘Rock Karaoke’. The label is not making discs presently. However, they have left their mark on the karaoke world for sure.

Feedback so far suggests they are decent discs. So, thank you for sending in your lists and the small amount of feedback.

Of course, Karaoke Info is still gathering more information. So, if you can contribute further, please do so.

Dangerous Karaoke Review

The first samples we used from the ‘Hot’ series had very colourful opening splash screens. For karaoke, they had just the right amount of information.

Dangerous Karaoke DG01 CDG Disc.

In this case, we saw the company logo followed by “Hot Hits”. Then there is the song title, followed by “in the style of (artist).”

The on-screen lyrics were white on a blue background. As the music progressed, those words turned a shade of orange.

However, we found that the beat was slightly ahead of the lyrics. Of course, that should be the other way around. That made the songs less enjoyable to follow. The end screen shows the company logo and the name of the series.

The Rock Karaoke Series had different opening and closing screens. Firstly, there was the name of the company. Then, after a drop of blood (what we believe this represents), the song title appears at the bottom. Those background screens were red, with white words turning blue. However, the lyrics were still slightly behind.

The CDG labels were nothing special, but they did the job!

Karaoke Song Sample

Although we may use numerous songs for the review, we only provide one sample video to represent the label. So, the song sample for our video presentation is DGH06-03 – Madonna – Don’t Cry For Me Argentina.
