Craig Karaoke Introduction
The Craig Karaoke label is a set of 12 discs, and they have their roots in the Sound Choice stable. However, they have their very own colourful labels.
They also have splash screens to match. So, they have a unique identity and deserve a page of their own here at Karaoke Info.
In brief, we shouted out a while back for the less-famous karaoke labels. Indeed, our old forum even turned up some karaoke gems. With this in mind, thanks to the members for unearthing them.

Different Genres of Music
Although the list of discs here is small, the categories are varied. For example, the discs contain country, pop, rock, teen, and oldies hits. That is not bad after a release of only a dozen discs. However, are they worth collecting? Our review and other information may give you insight.
Craig Karaoke Review
Although Craig Karaoke Discs have a fine pedigree, we review them independently. We do so on the understanding that they will probably be good.
On the samples, the opening splash screen showed a bright blue background. The white company logo was big and bold. In this case, “Craig Karaoke.”
This screen soon disappeared to display the song title and “in the style of (artist). These words were orange (a shade of), and that colour scheme didn’t match.
The lyrics were white. These changed to that horrible shade of orange as the song progressed.
Be that as it may, the lyrics did sync well, and the choice of music was excellent.
At the end of the song, there are two screens. One shows the writer and publisher, but blink, and you’ll miss it. Then, we get the company logo, identical to the opening screen.
The CDGs themselves were typical SC labels. Meanwhile, the sleeves are almost psychedelic looking.

Although we may use numerous songs for the review, we only provide one sample video to represent the label. So, the song sample for our video presentation is CRK507-01 – Avril Lavigne – Complicated.

For the casual collector, these discs represent good value. The music and lyrics sync well, and the words are legible. What more could you want?
Craig Karaoke Portable System
In general, when you search for Craig Karaoke, what mostly shows up are karaoke players/machines. As with all these small types of CDG players, they are basically for kids. We are not knocking systems like these. Indeed, they allow children to get into karaoke.
Perhaps these Craig Karaoke discs have a licence from Sound Choice Karaoke to compliment their machines? Either way, this label is unique. Therefore, it rightfully has a page here on the Karaoke Info website.
