Clifton Music Karaoke DOO-WOP Series
The Clifton Music label is a two-disc set of doo-wop karaoke songs. Disc one is A cappella, with disc two having musical accompaniment, Forever Doo Wop.
In brief, Doo-Wop music originated in the 1940s and increased in popularity until the 1960s. This two-disc karaoke set is a one-off release, and there are no others by Clifton Records.
If you own these discs, did you ever use them at a gig? Alternatively, did you get them for home use?
Also, let us know about your experiences with these discs. We especially want your opinions about the audio content and lyrics. In addition to the disc ID numbers (prefixes) in the list below, we have a song list to accompany them.

Clifton Music Karaoke Review
We understand that in the early days of CDGs, the on-screen graphics were primitive, but some companies did manage decent images. However, in this case, the opening screens are so unprofessional-looking.
Amongst the mess, you should be able to make out a stool and microphone in the spotlight.
The splash screen shows the following statement: “Ronnie I Productions presents Doo Wop Karaoke.” Then, you will see the song title and the artists.
The light blue screen has the lyrics in white that turn red as the song progresses. However, we found that the lyrics did not sync well. Be that as it may, the sounds were excellent!
The end screen gave us further information about the song, but we were hardly impressed. The artwork on both the discs and the sleeves was acceptable.
Doo-Wop Karaoke Sample
Although we may use numerous songs for the review, we only provide one sample video to represent the label. So, the song sample for our video presentation is DOOWOP001-04 – Silk City – Blue Moon.

Desirability Factor
The karaoke tracks are decent enough, but what lets them down is everything else! So, unless you cannot find these karaoke tracks elsewhere, they have no desirability factor. However, we are sure the avid collector will seek them out regardless.
The label is specific to doo-wop music, of course. But be aware that other big karaoke labels also have doo-wop karaoke.
For example, the Music Maestro Karaoke label has many discs in this genre. But is this two-disc set worth finding? Our review helps, but we’d like your input too!
We expect eBay to be the best source to find these discs, but if you know better, please tell us. Any scrap of information on this karaoke label will help others who may have an interest in it.
