Children’s Audio Productions Karaoke Series
The Children’s Audio Productions Karaoke collection is for kids, of course. All the songs have guided vocals, and the experience is engaging for children.
A fellow karaoke jockey (KJ), who used to do kids’ parties, sent in a list of the disc prefixes and his songbook, so we use that as our guide.
In this case, he had a separate songbook for children’s parties, adult gigs and even a Christian songbook! There is nothing like being prepared for a special karaoke gig!

Children’s Audio Productions Karaoke Review
We will not pretend that this karaoke collection will be easy to review. For starters, they are not traditional karaoke discs. But we still need to cater for the kids! We will pop CAP92854 (Alphabet Land) into the player and do our best.
The splash screens gave us a bright yellow backdrop and the company logo. The next screen gave us the ‘Listen & Learn’ headline with the album name.
The male narrator immediately announced what the song was all about. Dots disappearing from the right gave us an indication of where the karaoke song begins. Then, because all of these karaoke discs have guide vocals, the female singer began to sing along with the words.
The backing music was bouncy enough, and the lyrics matched the words impeccably. Indeed, they kept their timing better than the Chartbuster karaoke discs we reviewed previously! The wording was blue, changing to red as the song progressed.
From the cover art we saw, they know what children like.

Although we may use numerous songs for the review, we only provide one sample video to represent the label. So, the song sample for our video presentation is CAP92859-11 – Counting Farm – Farmer Sum Goes To Count The Pigs.

Desirability Factor
We can only mark karaoke discs as we find them, and these were fine. If you have kids, then these certainly will not disappoint.
This collection of children’s karaoke discs has vocal tracks (with- vocals).
They are ideal for children, of course. This sort of ‘karaoke’ is an educational tool.
As we can see in the titles, they could be excellent for children’s parties. But kids can also learn with them at home.
After all, kids love to sing, too, and we cannot deny them that sort of fun!
The sequence of the disc prefixes shown above clearly indicates that there could have been other releases in this series. So, if you know of others, please let us know by sending in images of the sleeves, etc.

I never used them. Because, as you said, they are all vocals… I didn’t know that when I purchased them 🙁
