Bright Spark Karaoke Introduction
There are six discs in the Bright Spark Karaoke collection, but they don’t produce CDGs now.
Early feedback suggests that this label has a decent reputation already.
The quality of these discs is good. This set of discs is better than some of the newer discs released today. That is, according to some people who still use them.

A staff member at the Karaoke Info website has the complete set of Bright Spark discs. He says that while he gigged with them, they were of excellent quality. His collection of discs is what we shall use on this reviews page.
He also says that one of his regulars insisted on the Bright Spark version of Des O’Connor’s “I Pretend”. Another guy would do David Bowie’s “Laughing Gnome” from the same set! However, we would like you to write your own opinions about them.

To clarify, the only CDGs available in this series are as follows:

Bright Spark Karaoke Review
The first song we played off these discs was Oliver’s Army by Elvis Costello. The splash screen has the company logo in black and white, but the song title is blue.
The end screen is identical to the opening titles. However, there is no further info. Be that as it may, you want to know how they perform.
Feedback suggested these discs are good, and they are! We liked them so much that we had a little impromptu karaoke party using them! Fancy that!
The white lyrics changed to pinkish on a black background. If we were going to pick a fault, it would be that the words are far too big. Indeed, they only show one sentence at a time. That is fine if you know the song well enough, as you will know what comes next.
According to most singers, the preferred method is that the screen shows two sentences at all times. Be that as it may, the lyrics were mostly in sync or a little ahead, which is perfect.
Musically, we couldn’t fault these one bit because the quality of the backing tracks was excellent. Indeed, our karaoke party rocked on for quite a while because of that.
The artwork is practically non-existent except for the logo, of course. But, again, it’s the engine that matters!

Although we may use numerous songs for the review, we only provide one sample video to represent the label. So, the song sample for our video presentation is BSK002-01 – Black Lace – I Am The Music Man.

We gave this collection 4 out of 5 in the rating system below because they kept us rocking away all night! It’s just a shame that the lyrics are not like the way Zoom has them. If they were, we would have given this label five out of five if that were the case.
You can also vote for these, even if you don’t have the discs or tracks. Indeed, all you need to do is watch our presentation video above and judge that.
Desirability Factor
This company is not making karaoke discs now, so the only way to buy this collection is on the second-hand market. With six discs in this collection, you will usually find them for sale as one lot.
Indeed, we did find some new discs on the internet. In other words, they still had their factory seals. Something like this is a big bonus, of course! We certainly value these karaoke discs. So much so that we feel that they are highly desirable.
