Ameri-Sing Karaoke Introduction
Before we begin, this page mostly refers to the commercial discs from Ameri-Sing Karaoke. However, we also have information about the digital collection for your convenience.
The Ameri-Sing Karaoke Company is no longer making discs. However, they produced five series and a few odd discs. We will tell you if they are worth collecting with our review and 5-star rating system.
Producing over eighty CDGs is excellent for a company in the cut-throat karaoke world. Indeed, it’s an effort that we should all appreciate.
Please be aware that the parent company is A-Major Music. As such, they are responsible for the following karaoke labels:
We asked members and visitors for information about this karaoke label. The replies gave us the list of CDGs below. In effect, it took an absolute age to filter all this information. But we did compile a list that most Karaoke Jockeys (KJs) would use in their songbooks.
We also have a songbook to accompany this label. You can use it for cross-reference and download it for personal use or at your gigs. So, onto the disc identities.
Ameri-Sing Discs And Series
The songbook contains the contents of the discs above, but you need to be a member to download them. Of course, we list all the song titles and the original artists.
Ameri-Sing Karaoke Duplicates
At this point, it is necessary to highlight a duplicate collection of discs. Indeed, we are talking about the Power Hits Karaoke label (link above). In effect, the Ameri-Sing Hip Tracks are AKA Power Hits.
Although the Power Hits Karaoke label has a 13-disc release, this Ameri-Sing label is far more comprehensive. Our advice, therefore, is to aim for this collection and avoid the Power Hits. It comes down to personal choice, of course. So, let us look at the rest of the label, including these dupes.
Ameri-Sing Karaoke Review
We have placed these in the A-Major Music group because the link is clear enough. Indeed, their on-screen presentation is the same throughout this collection of discs.
For example, the splash screens are identical to the Big Hitz label. In other words, there is a pale red background and only the song title—a dead giveaway!
The outlined lyrics are also displayed cleanly on a blue background and keep in step with the music. There is no ending splash screen.
The artwork is not dull, but it is not breathtaking either. It is novel how the firm shows an image of the disc on the sleeve. All in all, these karaoke discs are worth having in your collection.

Although we may use numerous songs for the review, we only provide one sample video to represent the label. So, the song sample for our video presentation is AMS1047-03 – Sisqo – The Thong Song.

We gave this karaoke label a respectable 4 out of 5 in the star rating system below. You can now vote for this label, of course. It doesn’t matter if you don’t own any of these karaoke CDGs. Just watch the presentation video above and make a judgement based on that.
Desirability Factor
The discs run in sequence, and it’s easy to follow their prefixes. That makes it easier to get the collection in full. Based on our review and belief that they have good connections with a sound pedigree, these discs are highly desirable. Indeed, they would grace any karaoke collection.
However, please note that the AMS10xx and AMS15xx series have guide vocal tracks. You can see this on the label below. So, those discs only have half the tracks as unique songs. Of course, these guide vocals will help you learn a song. But they are not so good when it comes to storage space!
Of course, the casual karaoke disc collector would not want to buy identical Power Hits karaoke discs. However, because the PHK series have different labels, the avid collector will grab them regardless.

Not bad at all.
I like the Ameri-Sing label and always have done. I think the music is clean and sharp. The lyrics never fail me, so these karaoke discs are a big hit as far as I’m concerned.
